Status Points help you achieve and maintain your KMrewards Tier Membership. The more Status Points you collect, the higher your Tier, unlocking even greater exclusive benefits.
You’ll collect 2.5 Status Points for every €1 spent on KM Malta Airlines flights and ancillaries (excluding taxes and charges). These points are credited to your account after you have completed your flight.
You can also collect Status Points when spending with participating partner brands through the KMrewards app. You’ll collect 1 Status Point for every €20 spent with eligible partner brands. This applies to partners where the collecting and spending transaction takes place directly within the KMrewards app, and not where your KMrewards account needs to be connected to another loyalty programme.
With every Status Point collected, you're one step closer to enjoying more rewards and privileges tailored to your Tier level.
Your Status Point Collection Period runs from 1st April to 31st March each year. You have 12 months to collect enough Status Points to maintain or move up a Tier. At the end of this period, your Status Points reset to zero, and a new 12-month qualification period begins. This does not affect your SkyBux balance.

When you join KMrewards, you’ll start as a Member. By flying with KM Malta Airlines and purchasing flight extras, you’ll collect Status Points, helping you progress through the Tiers. Your ultimate goal? Reaching Pioneer status, where the most exclusive rewards and privileges await!
Your Tier level is determined by the number of Status Points you accumulate during each Status Point Collection Period. While Member status is permanent, all other Tiers are valid until the end of the current Collection Period plus an additional year — through to 31st March of the following year.

Status Points reset to 0. Your tier stays.
Status Points count from 1 April to 31 March. On 1 April they reset to zero; your SkyBux are not affected.
Reach the Status Points for the next tier and you are upgraded straight away, on any day of the period.
Your new tier lasts until the end of the period plus one more year, to 31 March of the following year. Base member status never expires.
